David A. Beal values Boulder’s sense of community. When fires ripped through the Boulder County mountains, we offered our services to help families get back on their feet.

The Fourmile fires began on September 6, 2010 and raged for days. Over 3,500 residents were evacuated from the zone. After the flames were finally quenched,  more than 6,100 acres had burned including 4,086 acres of private land. The flames consumed 169 homes, including the homes of four local firefighters. The displaced 520 landowners faced legal obstacles simply to get back on their land and restart their lives. It was a tragic and life-changing event for many, more than the numbers can convey.

David A. Beal created free home plans for interested families. We worked in conjunction with Boulder County Building Materials Co-op to get the community back on its feet. Beal explained, “I am interested in helping as many people as possible regardless of their loss or insurance reimbursement.” Every step has helped to get families back into homes and the community has made excellent strides towards redevelopment. We have been honored to assist.
