The Colorado Green Building Guild, which was originally the Boulder Green Building Guild, is transforming and expanding in new ways and we couldn’t be happier. The Guild is growing in order to incorporate more of the state of Colorado versus the city of Boulder. The Colorado Green Building Guild recognizes that residents state-wide are interested in protecting the environment as well as keeping energy costs down in homes. In addition to this great, new change, David A. Beal is now on the board of the Colorado Green Building Guild!

While the Guild will work on ways to advance sustainability awareness and practices across Colorado, certain elements will remain the same in order to keep values and beliefs in tact. The mission statement of the Guild, which is to create healthier, resource-efficient homes and workplaces and make green building common practice, will remain the same.

The commitment to working locally within Boulder county will also remain a core value of the Guild as they plan to remain in Boulder while broadening the reach and range of the organization. Benefits and memberships of the Guild will also remain unchanged. However, new benefits will be offered in order to increase value. Some of the new benefits include, a brand new dynamic website, keyword and GOOGLE searchable, and open to social media networks, with opportunities for you to create sub-groups and post videos and more on your profile is coming soon, more Professional Development Trainings including Advanced Green Building and more opportunities to earn CE credits.
